Synopsis

Capt. George Curtis is sent from Washington to reform conditions on an Indian reservation. After ousting the reservation deputy, Curtis comes under fire from the cattlemen who own land adjacent to the reservation. After an Indian kills a white rancher, inciting a lynch mob, Curtis steps in and diplomatically discovers the individual responsible, insisting that it was an isolated incident that should be dealt with in a civilized, legal fashion. The mob wants blood, however, and they attempt to storm the tribe. Curtis, with the help of the now swayed mayor, manages to correct the situation and reestablish peace.
