Synopsis

Sheila Conroy, a model working "by cloaks and suits," borrows a gown to wear to a millionaire's party. Harlan, a society crook posing as a government agent, offers her a job as his assistant. She accepts the job in order to help her sister, Lilly, and Lilly's husband, Billy. (The latter has embezzled money from his firm and is in danger of discovery.) Her assignment is to obtain the necessary "evidence" on Mrs. Bordon, a wealthy widow who has smuggled a jewel of great value into the country. Channing Maynard, a real government agent who is in love with Sheila, exposes Harlan and takes Sheila as his bride.
