Synopsis
One spring, a lonely little girl, prevented by an accident from running and playing with other children, moves with her family into a farmhouse near a small whispering pine. As the days pass, the forest animals and the pine tree befriend the girl and together they begin to share the joys of the seasons. Then winter comes. Just days before Christmas, a fierce snowstorm hits and isolates the farm from the town where the little girl's presents are waiting. The story relates the efforts of the animals and especially the tree to make the holidays joyous for the little girl and her family.
