Synopsis
"Cadillac" Jack Favor is a legend on the rodeo circuit, breaking records and enjoying life with Texas beauty Ponder and their young son Tommy. His life is tragically changed when he picks up a couple of hitchhikers who have murdered an elderly couple. Jack survives the encounter unharmed, but Chester Anderson, one of the hitchhikers, names Jack as the couple's killer while in prison on other charges. Jack is stunned and decides to take a lie detector test to prove his innocence, but when he arrives in Louisiana to take the test, authorities place him under arrest. Though he's innocent, Jack is convicted of the crime. Ponder vows to free her husband, but her tireless efforts prove unsuccessful. One day a chance circumstance gives Jack a new lease on life, and with it comes the opportunity to clear his name. Based on a true story.
