Biography
Joe Stevens was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Stevens landed roles in various films, including the comedic drama "Simple Men" (1992) with Robert John Burke, the comedy "My Boyfriend's Back" (1993) with Andrew Lowery and the drama "Flesh and Bone" (1993) with Dennis Quaid. He also appeared in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" (1993) with Johnny Depp and the comedy "Blank Check" (1994) with Brian Bonsall. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Renee Zellweger horror sequel "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation" (1995), the Kris Kristofferson thrilling mystery "Lone Star" (1996) and "Selena" (1997) with Jennifer Lopez. He also appeared in the Christopher Lloyd adventurous drama "Cadillac Ranch" (1997). Recently, he continued to act in "American Outlaws" (2001) with Colin Farrell, the Haley Joel Osment dramedy "Secondhand Lions" (2003) and the Dennis Quaid action movie "The Alamo" (2004). He also appeared in the Jeff Bridges box office smash western "True Grit" (2010). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). Stevens most recently acted in "The Trials of Cate McCall" (2014).
