Synopsis
An idealistic young resident physician, obsessed with the plight of his geriatric patients, risks not only his career but his marriage to champion his cause. This pilot to a prospective series starring Howard E. Rollins, Jr., has him fighting to prove that an elderly man (Art Carney) is not senile, battling not only the patient's family but also his fellow physicians and the hospital administration. Uta Hagen makes a rare TV acting appearance as a concentration camp survivor who is suicide prone until Rollins provides her with a reason to live.
