Synopsis
A television movie pilot centering on a newlywed couple from contrasting social backgrounds: a struggling divorcee and a well-to-do widower who each have offspring from previous marriages. Combining families from two very different worlds provides a challenge. The movie chronicles the whirlwind courtship, wedding and frenetic family honeymoon.
Barbara McCray is busy balancing her job, court-reporting studies and motherhood when Roger Gibbons steps into her life at the court restaurant where she works as a waitress. He offers to help her study for upcoming exams, and a whirlwind romance leads to wedding plans. But the couple reconsider their future when their children meet. Finally, despite reservations, the pair marries and go on a family honeymoon, a camping trip to bring the children together.
