With over 50 film and television appearances to her name, Adrian Ricard is a career character actress whose work ranges from serious dramas like "NYPD Blue" to family comedies like "Hanging with Mr. Cooper." Ricard made her television debut with a small role in the 1972 movie "Jigsaw," and soon landed supporting roles on primetime detective programs like "Columbo," "Harry O," and "Kojak." Ricard also appeared in many popular sitcoms of the 1970s, including "Good Times," "Sanford and Son," and "The Jeffersons." Ricard, whose TV credits during the 1980s included roles on the primetime soap operas "Knots Landing" and "The Women of Brewster Place," branched out into films during the 1990s with supporting roles in the Joe Pesci mistaken identity comedy "Jimmy Hollywood" and the hip-hop inflected political comedy "Bulworth." She has since appeared in the medical drama "ER" and the sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," as well as the film adaptation of Isaac Asimov's science-fiction classic "I, Robot."
