Biography
Kate Benton was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She also starred in the TV movies "Your Mother Wears Combat Boots" (NBC, 1988-89) and "Brand New Life: The Honeymooners" (NBC, 1989-1990). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Man Who Was Death" (HBO, 1988-89) and "Just Temporary" (NBC, 1989-1990). At the time, she also appeared in movies like the comedy adventure "18 Again" (1988) with George Burns. She then appeared in "Why Me?" (1990) with Christopher Lambert, the Kim Cattrall comedic adventure "Honeymoon Academy" (1990) and the Robin Williams comedy "Toys" (1992). She also appeared in the Jacob Tierney adventurous drama "Josh and S.A.M." (1993). Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Growing Up Funny" (Lifetime, 1993-94). Benton most recently acted on "A Side Order of Life" (Lifetime, 2006-07).
