Synopsis
After purchasing a seaside vacation house, a young Black playwright is mistaken for a burglar and almost killed by the local authorities. In an attempt to save face, the corrupt police chief sets up a plot to take the writer hostage, then "rescue" him. Unfortunately, nothing goes according to plan.
