Biography
Jeff Blumenkrantz was an accomplished actor, noted for his comedic timing in his roles for television shows. Blumenkrantz's career began with roles in "Caroline in the City" (1995-99), "Smart Guy" (1997-99) and "Just Shoot Me" (NBC, 1997-2003). He also worked in film during these years, including roles in "Amos and Andrew" (1993) with Nicolas Cage. He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "Will & Grace" (NBC, 1998-) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the action picture "The Thirteenth Floor" (1999) with Craig Bierko. Recently, he tackled roles on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011) and "The Detour" (TBS, 2016-). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (PBS, 2000). Blumenkrantz most recently acted in "The Big Sick" (2017).
