Robert Glenister was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had an early role on the television special "Me and the Girls" (PBS, 1986-87). He also appeared in the TV movie "Ending Up" (PBS, 1992-93). Glenister worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Cover Her Face" (PBS, 1986). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Dark Autumn" (2001-02). Additionally, he later acted in the fantastical comedy "Just Visiting" (2001) with Jean Reno. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Midsomer Murders" (ITV 1, 1996). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Prime Suspect: The Lost Child" (PBS, 1995-96) and "Bramwell IV" (PBS, 1998-99). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Hitler: The Rise of Evil" (2002-03). He also appeared in the Paul Bettany dramatic adaptation "Creation" (2010). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order: UK" (BBC, 2008-2013). Most recently, Glenister appeared in "Appropriate Adult" (2011-12).
