Krystyna Janda was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Janda's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Man of Marble" (1977), the Andrzej Seweryn sci-fi picture "Na Srebrnym Globie" (1978) and the drama "Without Anesthesia" (1979) with Zbigniew Zapasiewicz. She also appeared in "Dyrygent" (1980), "Man of Iron" (1981) and "Bella Donna" (1982). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Vertiges" (1984), "A Woman's Pale Blue Handwriting" (1984) and "O-Bi, O-Ba - Koniec Cywilizacji" (1985). She also appeared in "My Mother's Lovers" (1985). In her more recent career, she continued to act in "Zwolniena Z Zycia" (1992), the drama "Dekalog 5" (1995) with Miroslaw Baka and the Fabrice Luchini dramatic adaptation "Un Air Si Pur" (1997). She also appeared in the foreign "Le Palais de la sante" (1997) with Fabrice Luchini and "Zycie Jako Smiertelna Choroba Przenoszona Droga Plciowa" (2000). Most recently, Janda acted in "Elles" (2012).
