Putting his musical talent to use, Terence Trent D'Arby's music was featured in Hollywood productions. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Our Common Future" (1988-89), "Smokey Robinson" (Showtime, 1989-1990) and "Late Night With David Letterman Eighth Anniversary Special" (NBC, 1990-91). He also appeared in "Motown 30: What's Goin' On!" (CBS, 1990-91). It came as no surprise that Hollywood turned towards D'Arby to provide musical touches on such films as "Frankie and Johnny" (1991) with Al Pacino and the Julia Roberts comedic drama "Prêt-à-Porter" (1994). D'Arby was a talented musician whose work was featured in the Penélope Cruz dramatic adaptation "Don't Move" (2005) and the Seth Rogen hit romantic comedy "Knocked Up" (2007). D'Arby's music was most recently featured in the George Clooney dramatic adaptation "Up in the Air" (2009). Throughout His career, D'Arby's music appeared on TV shows like "Lush Life" (Fox, 1996-97). In addition to his music, D'Arby also appeared on-screen in the musical drama "Clubland" (1999) with Jimmy Tuckett and "Shake, Rattle & Roll" (1999-2000).
