Synopsis

A love story about America's love of music and a couple's love for each other. Beginning in the American South of 1955, the story follows the passionate affair of a young couple, Lyne Danner and Tyler Hart, and the rise and fall (and rise again) of The HartAches, the band they form. Their story is set against the birth and evolution of Rock in America, echoing the profound changes in American culture. It ends in 1963, with the British invasion, when the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and others forever changed the course of Rock, turning it from a celebration of American youth into an anthem for heady societal and cultural change.
