Biography
Jon Hall was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hall's earliest roles were in film, including "Hurricane" (1937), "Kit Carson" (1940) and "Sailor's Lady" (1940). He also appeared in "South of Pago-Pago" (1940), "Aloma of the South Seas" (1941) and "Arabian Nights" (1942). He kept working in film throughout the forties, starring in "White Savage" (1943), "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" (1944) and "Cobra Woman" (1944). He also appeared in "Gypsy Wildcat" (1944), "The Invisible Man's Revenge" (1944) and "Sudan" (1945). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "Deputy Marshall" (1949), "Zamba" (1949) and "China Corsair" (1951). He also appeared in "Hurricane Island" (1951), "Hell Ship Mutiny" (1957) and "Forbidden Island" (1959). Hall more recently acted in "Beach Girls and the Monster" (1965). Hall passed away in December 1979 at the age of 64.
