Biography
Tony Frank was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. Frank's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the drama "The Bermuda Triangle" (1978) with Donald Albee, the Nick Nolte dramatic comedy "North Dallas Forty" (1979) and the drama "Liar's Moon" (1982) with Matt Dillon. He also appeared in the dramatic musical "Tender Mercies" (1983) with Robert Duvall, the Tommy Lee Jones crime drama "The River Rat" (1984) and the action movie "Alamo Bay" (1985) with Amy Madigan. He continued to act in productions like "Extreme Prejudice" (1987) with Nick Nolte, "Johnny Be Good" (1988) with Anthony Michael Hall and "Talk Radio" (1988). He also appeared in the Steve James drama "Riverbend" (1989). Recently, he tackled roles in "A Perfect World" (1993) and the Kris Kristofferson mystery thriller "Lone Star" (1996). He also was featured in the TV movies "The Final Verdict" (TNT, 1991-92) and "Wild Texas Wind" (NBC, 1991-92). Most recently, Frank acted in "A Slipping Down Life" (2004) with Lili Taylor.
