Biography
Ernesto Alterio was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Alterio started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Insomnia" (1997) with Cristina Marcos, "Los Lobos de Washington" (1999) and "The Stolen Years" (1999). He also appeared in "Havana Quartet" (1999), "Yoyes" (2000) and the fantastical drama "Bunuel, King Solomon" (2001) with El Gran Wyoming. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Ana Torrent drama "El Juego de Luna" (2003), "The Other Side of the Bed" (2003) and "Dias de futbol" (2003). He also appeared in "Taken In" (2004). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic adaptation "The Method" (2007) with Eduardo Noriega, "Lluvia" (2008) and "Rivales" (2008). He also appeared in "Las viudas de los jueves" (2009) and "Amigos" (2011). Most recently, Alterio acted in "Clandestine Childhood" (2013).
