Biography
Chris Collins was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Collins worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Once and Again" (ABC, 1999-2002). He also starred in the TV movies "Mean Streak" (1998-99), "Seventeen Again" (Showtime, 2000-01) and "They Call Me Sirr" (Showtime, 2000-01). Collins also contributed music to "Love Songs" (Showtime, 1998-99). He also worked in film during these years, including a part on "Paid in Full" (2002) with Wood Harris. He also starred in the TV movies "Ruby's Bucket of Blood" (2001-02), "The Red Sneakers" (Showtime, 2001-02) and "Whitewash: The Clarence Brandley Story" (Showtime, 2001-02). More recently, he tackled roles on "Platinum" (2002-03), "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" (ION Television Network, 2002-05) and "Without A Trace" (CBS, 2002-09). Collins's music was most recently featured in the Ben Affleck blockbuster dramatic adaptation "Gone Girl" (2014). He also appeared in the crime thriller "Owning Mahowny" (2003) with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
