Darry Cowl was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Biography

Darry Cowl was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Cowl's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Paris Palace Hotel" (1956), the Brigitte Bardot comedy "That Darned Kid" (1956) and the crime feature "Three Make A Pair" (1957) with Michel Simon. He also appeared in the Jean Poiret comedy "Lovers and Thieves" (1957) and the comedic drama "The Magnificent Tramp" (1962) with Jean Gabin. His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "Un Oursin dans la Poche" (1977), "Arrete ton Char Bidasse" (1978) and "General nous voila" (1978). He also appeared in "Pour 100 Briques, T'as plus rien maintenant" (1982). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the comedy "Une Nuit a l'assemblee nationale" (1988) with Michel Blanc, "Ville a Vendre" (1992) and "Les Miserables" (1995). He also appeared in the comedy "Ma femm me quitte" (1996) with Michel Boujenah and the Pierre Richard comedy "Droit dans le mur" (1997). Cowl was most recently credited in "La Vie privée" (2007). Cowl passed away in February 2006 at the age of 81.
