Biography
Biography
A major European director of the silent era, Christensen demonstrated an early grasp of sophisticated cinematic techniques (that may predate those of both D.W. Griffith and Louis Feuillade) which should have assured him a more prominent place in film history, but prints of many of his films remain lost. He worked in Hollywood from 1925-29.
