Biography
Actor Richard Woods appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. He also was featured in the miniseries "Rage of Angels" (1982-83). He had an early role on the television special "Sherlock Holmes" (HBO, 1981-82). Woods worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Dark Shadows" (ABC, 1965-1971). He also appeared in the TV special "Let Me Hear You Whisper" (1989-1990). Following that project, he appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Fresh Horses" (1988) with Molly Ringwald and the dramedy "Mr. North" (1988) with Anthony Edwards. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Cosby Show" (NBC, 1984-1992). In the nineties, he then appeared in "Miller's Crossing" (1990), "The Hudsucker Proxy" (1994) with Tim Robbins and the Kevin Kline comedy "In & Out" (1997). Most recently, Woods appeared in "The Love Letter" (CBS, 1997-98).
