Synopsis
Retired New York City policeman and recovering alcoholic Ruben Castle is vacationing a small town in Colorado when some gruesome cattle mutilations occur. Athough he initially tries to stay uninvolved, Ruben begins working on the case with the town's attractive woman sheriff, and soon finds himself falling in love with her. Castle struggles to maintain his sobriety as he and the sheriff face danger as well as resistance from the frightened townsfolk.
