Henry Wills was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Wills kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Lumberjack" (1944), the Alan Ladd western "Shane" (1953) and the Alan Ladd action flick "Saskatchewan" (1954). He also appeared in the adaptation "Black Horse Canyon" (1954) with Joel McCrea, the drama "Run For Cover" (1955) with James Cagney and the biopic "Chief Crazy Horse" (1955) with Victor Mature. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties, appearing in the western "Six Black Horses" (1962) with Audie Murphy, "Shenandoah" (1965) and "The Sons of Katie Elder" (1965). He also appeared in the Howard Keel western "Red Tomahawk" (1967). Wills had a number of different projects under his belt in the seventies and the eighties, including "F.I.S.T." with Sylvester Stallone (1978), "Beyond the Poseidon Adventure" (1979) starring Michael Caine and "Coast to Coast" (1980). His credits also expanded to "Melvin and Howard" with Paul Le Mat (1980) and "The Mountain Men" with Charlton Heston (1980). Wills more recently worked on "Pump Up the Volume" (1990) with Christian Slater.
