His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Rob Estes action film "Trapper County War" (1989) and the Duke Ernsberger drama "Killer" (1990). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Vestige of Honor" (CBS, 1990-91). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "I'll Fly Away" (NBC, 1991-93).
