Synopsis
In this 1993 dramatic remake of the French film "The Return of Martin Guerre," Sommersby is a selfish man who was presumed dead in the Civil War, but he shows up at home years later. Not only has the dead man seemingly sprung to life, he's now a sweet and loving father and husband, with whom his wife falls in love all over again. But the townsfolk, including the man in love with Sommersby's wife, think he's an impostor.
