Kurt Weill captivated countless movie-going audiences with his incredible music. Weill worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Die Dreigroschenoper" with Rudolf Forster (1931) and "You and Me" (1938) starring Sylvia Sidney. In the eighties and the nineties, Weill devoted his time to various credits, such as "Johnny Be Good" (1988), "Ray's Male Heterosexual Dance Hall" (1989) starring John Achorn, "Jazz At The Smithsonian: Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers" with Art Blakey (1990) and "Mack the Knife" (1990).
