Throughout her entertainment career as an accomplished actress, Rita Webb graced the silver screen many times. Webb's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the crime feature "The Boys" (1963) with Richard Todd, the Jennifer Jones drama "The Idol" (1966) and the Sidney Poitier drama "To Sir With Love" (1967). She also appeared in the "The Nine Ages of Nakedness" (1969) film with George Harrison Marks. She continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in "Percy" (1970), the Frankie Howerd comedy "Up Pompeii" (1971) and the comedy "Confessions of a Pop Performer" (1975) with Robin Askwith. She also appeared in the Barry Andrews comedy "I'm Not Feeling Myself Tonight" (1975). Nearing the end of her career, she tackled roles in the Peter Sellers action movie "Revenge of the Pink Panther" (1978), the comedy "The Hound of the Baskervilles" (1978) with Peter Cook and "Can I Come Too?" (1979). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Benny Hill Show" (1979-1984). Webb more recently acted in "The Omega Connection" (1979) with Jeffrey Byron. Webb passed away in August 1981 at the age of 77.
