Synopsis
Surrounded by women, professional photographer Harrison Marks is suffering from "feminophobia." On a psychiatrist's couch he recalls how his ancestors were similarly affected with this phobia. These ancestors include Harrison Stone Marks of the Stone Age, Harrison Hubergritz of Ancient Egypt, Chinese mandarin Ha-Ri-Son, retired Greek sculptor Professor Marks, "Frankenstein" Marks, cavalier portraitist Sir Harrison Chandelier, romantic poet Byron Marks, and music hall performer The Great Marco. His final vision is of a futuristic computer age in which he is the lone surviving male, being preserved merely for breeding purposes. No medical assistance is supplied by the psychiatrist, who, although she has a man's voice, is revealed to be a woman.
