Biography
Shane Rimmer was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Rimmer's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the comedy adaptation "Dr. Strangelove" (1964) with Peter Sellers, the comedy "Spys" (1974) with Donald Sutherland and the George Kennedy thriller "The Human Factor" (1975). He also appeared in the fantastical drama "Rollerball" (1975) with James Caan, the fantasy "The People That Time Forgot" (1977) with Patrick Wayne and "Nasty Habits" (1977). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Pia Zadora drama "The Lonely Lady" (1983), "The Hunger" (1983) and the action movie "Superman III" (1983) with Christopher Reeve. He also appeared in the Mel Smith comedy "Morons From Outer Space" (1985). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Aidan Quinn dramatic period piece "Crusoe" (1989), the Matt Dillon crime flick "A Kiss Before Dying" (1991) and the action flick "Company Business" (1991) with Gene Hackman. He also appeared in the Penelope Ann Miller comedic adventure "Year of the Comet" (1992) and "A Kid in King Arthur's Court" (1995) with Thomas Ian Nicholas. Most recently, Rimmer acted in the comedic drama "Dark Shadows" (2012) with Johnny Depp.
