Biography
Actor Billy Nelson appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Nelson's career beginnings included film roles in "Minesweeper" (1943), "Gambler's Choice" (1944) and "Waterfront" (1944). He went on to act in the Lawrence Tierney biopic "Dillinger" (1945), the drama "High Powered" (1945) with Robert Lowery and the Bob Hope biopic "The Seven Little Foys" (1955). He also appeared in "Somebody Up There Likes Me" (1956). Nelson was most recently credited in "Farm Aid IV" (The Nashville Network, 1989-1990). Nelson passed away in June 1979 at the age of 76.
