Buddy Messinger began his entertainment career as a 16-year-old child actor. In 1917, he made his first film appearance at age 10 in "Gloriana." In 1947, he took his first job as an assistant director on the film "The Valiant Hombre." Messinger began his career with a role in "The Abysmal Brute" (1923). Messinger then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "A Lady of Chance" (1928). Later in his career, Messinger acted in "Hold Back the Dawn" (1941) with Charles Boyer. Messinger passed away in October 1965 at the age of 58.
