Biography
Sean McCann was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McCann kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Barry Foster drama "A Quiet Day in Belfast" (1973), "Sudden Fury" (1975) and "The Far Shore" (1976). He also appeared in the drama "Three Card Monte" (1978) with Richard Gabourie and "Title Shot" (1979). His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like the thriller "Criminal Law" (1989) with Gary Oldman, the action movie "Mind Field" (1989) with Michael Ironside and the Susan Hogan comedic drama "Bordertown Cafe" (1991). He also appeared in the Patrick Dempsey action picture "Run" (1991). More recently, he continued to act in "Affliction" (1998), the Holly Hunter dramatic adaptation "Woman Wanted" (1999) and the dramatic adaptation "The Law of Enclosures" (2000) with Sarah Polley. He also appeared in "Possible Worlds" (2000) with Tilda Swinton. McCann also contributed music to the drama "Brokedown Palace" (1999) with Claire Danes. McCann most recently appeared in "Best Christmas Party Ever" (Hallmark Channel, 2014-15).
