Biography

Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, John Malloy graced the silver screen many times. Malloy started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in the action movie "Final Chapter - Walking Tall" (1977) with Bo Svenson, the comedy "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (1978) with Nancy Allen and the Craig Wasson drama "The Outsider" (1979). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Cannery Row" (1982) with Nick Nolte. He also appeared in the TV movie "Nightmare in Badham County" (ABC, 1976-77). He also was featured in the miniseries "Mr. Horn" (1978-79). His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like the action flick "Raw Deal" (1986) with Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Arye Gross drama "Shaking the Tree" (1992). Malloy had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties through the early 2000s, including "Hoffa" (1992), "Moulin Rouge" (2001) and "Mail Order Wife" (2005). His credits also expanded to "Black Snake Moan" with Samuel L. Jackson (2007). Most recently, Malloy acted in the drama "My Blueberry Nights" (2008) with Norah Jones.
