Biography
Donald MacDonald worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. In his early acting career, MacDonald appeared in such films as "Who Cares" (1918), the drama "Lorna Doone" (1922) with Madge Bellamy and "These Thirty Years" (1934). He also appeared in the comedy "Ma and Pa Kettle at Home" (1954) with Marjorie Main. His film career continued throughout the fifties and the sixties in productions like the Burt Lancaster action movie "The Kentuckian" (1955) and the Hugh O'Brian western "The Brass Legend" (1956). MacDonald continued to exercise his talent in the seventies and the eighties, taking on a mix of projects like "Jaws 2" (1978) starring Roy Scheider, "The Best of Friends" (1981) and "Date Rape" (ABC, 1988-89). MacDonald most recently worked on the Martin Donovan comedic drama "Collaborator" (2012).
