Biography
Miroslav Janek worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Janek worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including"John Huston & The Dubliners" with John Huston (1987), "K.O. Kippers" (Cinemax, 1987-88) and "Medicine Fiddle" with Michael Loukinen (1992). He also contributed to "Old Explorers" (1990) and "Powaqqatsi" (1988) starring Francis Ford Coppola. In the nineties and the early 2000s, Janek devoted his time to various credits, such as "Anima Mundi" (1993), "William Kennedy's Albany" (PBS, 1994-95) and "The Unseen" (1997). He also worked on "Bitva o Zivot" (2000) starring Marie Ptackova. In the early 2000s, Janek lent his talents to projects like "Mexico" (2000), "Naqoyqatsi" with Marlon Brando (2002) and "Vierka, or The Mystery of Family B's Disappearance" (2006). His credits also expanded to "Citizen Havel" (2008). Most recently, Janek directed the Jaroslav Dusek foreign "Ctyri Dohody" (2013).
