Biography
Bill Kerr was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kerr's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "You Know What Sailors Are" (1954), "The Night My Number Came Up" (1955) and the dramatic adaptation "The Dam Busters" (1955) with Richard Todd. He also appeared in "The Wrong Arm of the Law" (1962), the comedic adaptation "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (1966) with Zero Mostel and the Leslie Phillips comedy adaptation "Doctor in Clover" (1967). His film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like "The Settlement" (1983), "Dusty" (1983) and "Relatives" (1984). He also appeared in "Razorback" (1984). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the dramatic period piece "The Lighthorsemen" (1988) with Jon Blake, "Kokoda Crescent" (1989) and "Slash Dance" (1989) with Cindy Maranne. He also appeared in the comedy "Checking Out" (1989) with Jeff Daniels and "Sweet Talker" (1991). Kerr most recently acted in the comedy adventure "Peter Pan" (2003) with Jason Isaacs.
