Synopsis
Henry Ames is commissioned by his San Francisco bank to carry valuable bonds to Franklyn Lawrence, an American client in Central America. On board ship, he starts drinking and becomes involved with a gang that intends to steal the bonds in order to pay for guns and ammunition to start a revolution. The bonds disappear, but it turns out that John Burke, suspecting the secret nature of Henry's assignment, has taken the documents for safe keeping. With John's help, Henry succeeds in delivering the bonds safely, winning the love of Lawrence's daughter Jane.
