Synopsis

Down-and-out Jack Warrender gets hired to work as a waiter at a black-tie party. At the party, he meets drunken banker Lionel Finch, whom he later blackmails into making him part of his firm. Despite his inexperience, Jack makes a great financial deal, and also finds love with Frances Wilson.
