Synopsis

A famous grand opera tenor, Gatti, comes to Vienna to perform in Aida . When he asks Mary Newberg, a young girl involved with the production, out to tea, she declines. When Mary's fiancé pressures her to use her influence with Gatti to get him a job in the orchestra, however, she agrees to accept the tenor's invitation. Ashamed of her manipulations, Mary breaks off her engagement, and she and Gatti fall in love.
