Synopsis
Gerald Erskine, wrongly accused of being the father of an illegitimate child, is scorned by his sweetheart, Mary Keith, and disowned by his wealthy father. He seeks refuge in China and is persuaded by Carlita, a dancer, and Jimmy, a sailor, to return home and establish the truth. Jimmy and Carlita, who loves Gerald, accompany him to the States. There Carlita discovers and reveals to Miss Keith that a rival suitor of Gerald's has seduced the unfortunate girl and blamed Gerald. Miss Keith learns from the dying girl that Gerald is not the father, but nevertheless she and Gerald adopt the child when they marry.
