Synopsis

Soon after Ken Marshall is elected sheriff by a town split into factions by lawlessness, he is framed for a train robbery committed by a bandit disguising himself as Ken. Tried and convicted, Ken decides to flee rather than face a jail sentence, and goes into hiding in the area. Ken returns to the town only at night to gather evidence against his enemies. He also secretly visits his girl friend, cowgirl June Roberts, to protect her from those seeking vegeance against him. At the suggestion of a prospector, Ken sets a trap for the bandits by sending a pack train supposedly carrying gold through the pass. The criminals are caught while attempting to rob the train, and Ken's innocence is proved. With the town safe once more, Ken is free to resume his romance with June.
