Synopsis
The bleak indsutrial bogs of the Irish midlands sets the backdrop for this community experiencing a deculturalization of itself as it plays host/home for every tradition but its own: American country-western music and movies, a high-tech factory built by the Japanese, and a British security device that blows up haystacks.
