Synopsis

Jack Ryan is appointed Deputy Director after his mentor steps down. Jack finds himself in over his head once again after an attempt by the White House to covertly destroy a Colombian drug cartel goes disastrously wrong. Set up as a scapegoat by his superiors, Ryan attempts to rescue the mission's abandoned soldiers and expose the crooked politician responsible for the injustice.
