Synopsis
When Billy Turner was younger, he had a reputation for being a little wild, so when he returns to his hometown in Florida and gets involved in a bar fight, he is immediately put in jail. Billy anticipates a quick release because his father is the town's mayor, but when he asks the guards to call him, he is informed that his father has been killed. As soon as Billy gets out of jail, he enlists the help of his best friend, Joey, and Joey's sister, Annie to help him find his father's killer. They suspect a local gambler and brothel owner whose business profited by the mayor's death, but their efforts to bring him to justice are hampered by the police chief who still thinks of Billy as a troublemaker.
