Synopsis
A depressed Brooklyn housewife, Joanne Schwartzbaum, sleepwalks through her life stuck in the same routine. Everything changes when she encounters an alien force in her kitchen. She meets an African immigrant, Abraham Kanga, who has had a similar close encounter. Together they are determined to solve the mystery of their shared otherworldly experiences. Joanne's husband, Brian, wonders if Joanne is crazy or cheating on him as she becomes increasingly mysterious as her frantic sleuthing activities increase. Along the way, Joanne finds romance, saves the planet from chaos and destruction, and finds new meaning in her life.
