Synopsis

A day in the life of a half-dozen or so contemporary Parisians, including all the problems that beset them as they struggle to get by. Hortense, a middle-class, married chiropractor, is having an affair - or two. She has to juggle personal phone calls at work, a lover who seems hard to reach by cell phone and her husband, who is off on a short trip. Her brother is newly married and everyone is eager to see the wedding photos, shot by a young woman named Marie who works in a camera store - and who secretly caught the groom's eye. Marie's father is a down-on-his-luck ex-television host who suddenly receives a note telling him that his ex-co-host, now a very successful woman, is about to pay him a visit. He goes through any number of scenarios in his head as to how their meeting will play out. And then there is Luis, a weary Paris bus driver whose wife announces, while he is driving his route, that she wants to leave him.
