Brief Synopsis

Hanako is a widowed suburban housewife who runs into Goro, a guy she hasn't seen since high school, at the local supermarket. She immediately begins to berate the store until Goro tells her he owns the place. Instead of being offended, Goro hires Hanako to fix up the shop. Goro wants to compete with the mega-mart Bargains Galore and begins to rely on Hanako's concept of top quality at low prices. The owner of Bargains Galore attempts to make friends with Goro in order to trip up his plans but Hanako offers advice that saves her partner.
