Synopsis
In an isolated German island in the Baltic Sea, Ferdinand dreams of becoming a well-respected novelist. Then one day, he comes across a beautiful woman playing the harp in a huge seashell floating just off the beach. It turns out to be a photo shoot, but Ferdinand is now hooked and must find a way to get close to this vision. He finds out her name is Rebecca and rents a hotel room across from her apartment that allows him to play voyeur. Ferdinand has also run into Henry, a mysterious fellow who is always trying to insert himself into aspects of Ferdinand's life. When Rebecca invites Ferdinand to hear her record an album in Dublin, Henry follows them both, his true identity soon to be violently revealed.
