Synopsis
A semi-autobiographical account of screenwriter Hana Azulay-Hasfari which depicts the uncomfortable familial tensions that can erupt between the more "Westernized" members, and those set in their traditional ways. The story presented is a disturbing tale of a prideful, Jewish Moroccan young girl, growing up in Israel in the '70s, who is both spooked and embarrassed by her sister's madness and her mother's "magic."
